OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE LICENSE
ShopMarkaz WordPress themes and plugins contain software code distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+), unless a particular component clearly states another GPL-compatible open-source license.
The GPL-licensed software may be used, modified, studied and redistributed in accordance with the terms of the applicable open-source license.
Nothing in ShopMarkaz’s commercial plans, support terms, update services or account terms is intended to restrict rights granted to users under the GNU General Public License or another applicable open-source license.
COMMERCIAL PURCHASES
Purchasing a ShopMarkaz commercial product provides access to the commercial services and benefits described on the applicable product page. Depending on the product or plan, these may include:
• Access to protected product downloads
• Automatic software updates
• Technical support
• Customer account services
• Premium documentation or other commercial services
Where a product is sold as a one-site plan, the one-site limitation applies to the commercial services associated with that purchase, such as automatic updates, technical support and account-based services. It does not remove or restrict rights granted under the GPL to GPL-licensed software code.
SHOPMARKAZ LITE PRODUCTS
Products distributed through the official WordPress.org directory, including eligible ShopMarkaz Lite themes or plugins, are provided under the license stated in their respective packages and are not dependent on purchasing a commercial ShopMarkaz plan.
Users are not required to purchase a premium ShopMarkaz product in order to continue using a ShopMarkaz Lite product obtained from WordPress.org.
THIRD-PARTY AND OPEN-SOURCE COMPONENTS
ShopMarkaz products may contain third-party libraries, fonts, images, scripts or other components.
Such components remain subject to their respective licenses. License and copyright information supplied with those components must be respected.
SHOPMARKAZ BRAND AND TRADEMARKS
The ShopMarkaz name, ShopMarkaz logos, product branding and other ShopMarkaz trademarks are not licensed under the GPL merely because GPL-licensed software is distributed under the ShopMarkaz brand.
The GPL rights applicable to software code do not grant permission to falsely represent a modified or redistributed product as an official ShopMarkaz product or to imply sponsorship, certification or endorsement by ShopMarkaz.
COMMERCIAL MATERIALS AND SERVICES
Access credentials, customer accounts, private support systems, protected download services and other account-based commercial services are provided according to the applicable product plan and service terms.
Any material included in a ShopMarkaz package that is governed by a separate license remains subject to that license.
RESTRICTIONS
Nothing in this section restricts rights granted under the GPL or another applicable open-source license.
Users may not:
• Falsely claim official ShopMarkaz authorship, certification or endorsement
• Use ShopMarkaz trademarks in a misleading or infringing manner
• Share private customer-account credentials or private support access contrary to applicable service terms
• Use ShopMarkaz services for unlawful activity
• Distribute malware or intentionally harmful code under the ShopMarkaz identity
SUPPORT, DOWNLOADS AND UPDATES
Commercial support, protected downloads and automatic update services are provided for the duration and scope stated on the applicable product or pricing page.
Expiration or termination of commercial support, update access or protected-download access does not revoke rights already granted under the GPL to copies of GPL-licensed software lawfully received by the customer.
ShopMarkaz does not guarantee lifetime technical support, compatibility with every third-party product or unlimited custom development unless expressly stated as part of a particular plan.
TERMINATION OF COMMERCIAL SERVICES
Access to commercial services such as customer accounts, private support, automatic-update services or protected downloads may be suspended or terminated in cases of fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful activity, credential sharing or material violation of applicable service terms, subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer rights.
Termination of those commercial services does not terminate GPL rights applicable to GPL-licensed software copies already received.
NO TRANSFER OF TRADEMARK RIGHTS
Redistribution or modification rights provided by an open-source software license do not constitute a transfer of ownership of the ShopMarkaz trademarks, business identity or brand.
